Community Consumer Health Resource Center

The New Milford Public Library, in cooperation with the New Milford Hospital has developed the CHI
(Community Health Information) Resource Center at the library.

The EBSCO Consumer Health Complete database is the single most comprehensive resource for consumer oriented health information. It is brought to you through the generous contribution of New Milford Hospital medical staff and employees.

New Milford Hospital is a Planetree designated institution and has partnered with the NMPL to provide a Community Health Information Center at the library. This resource center allows you access (with your New Milford library card) to the database which includes full text articles, pamphlets, reference books, reports, images, drug interaction sheets and videos. It is accessible in the library, from home and at the hospital. In addition, a collection of new, current health books, magazines and brochures are available as part of the library’s collection.
