Exciting Announcement for Blio, our eBook Service

We are happy to announce that Baker & Taylor, our ebook vendor, is now offering a new option to allow you to have a choice of formats when you check out an ebook. You will now be able to choose either the Blio format for your Blio reader APP or the ePub/PDF format for your e-reader device! ePub/PDF is a standard format that is supported by the Nook, the Sony Reader, Kobo and other devices. So, now if you read using any eReader device (click here for a complete list of supported devices) you will be able to check out books from our site. Over the next couple of days, the EPub/PDF selection will begin to appear as a selection on the site.

As the site is being updated to present this format option, the Get the APP page will be updated to include instructions on how to get Adobe Digital Editions. Adobe Digital Editions is the software you will need to manage your checked out books for your eReader devices.

We are excited that Baker & Taylor has decided to offer this industry standard ePubs/PDF to support the people who have eReader devices. Please note however that Kindle Fire does not support this ePubs/PDFs option, so please continue to use Blio if you have a Kindle Fire.
