Exciting New Enhancements to Evergreen
1) Now you can send a text message of an item’s call number to your phone so you can take that info into the stacks.
First: Click on "Text to phone" next to the call number.
Second: Log in to your account:
Third: Select your phone carrier and enter your cell phone number (without dashes).
Voila! The message will be sent to your phone!
2) You can also choose text messaging as the method of delivery for your hold notifications when you place a hold:
Check off the option "Yes, by Text Messaging".
Select your cell phone carrier and type in your cell number (without dashes).
3) Use "My Account" to set text messaging as the default so you don't need to type it in each time you place a hold:
Login to your account.
Click on Account Preferences, then Notification Preferences.
Check the box for "Notify by Text by default when a hold is ready for pickup"
Select your cell phone carrier and enter your cell number.
