Need books for a report or for leisure? Can't get to the library during regular hours? Well, we can help. We have a service to assist our NMHS students. It is a cooperative effort between the High School Library and the Public Library. Students who attend the high school may now e-mail requests to the public library to obtain books available in our collection. (You can access our catalog online.) Then just fill out a form online for the books you need (you will need your NMHS ID no. and your library card number). Don't have a library card? Well you can obtain one free online here. Submit the form and an e-mail will be forwarded to the library. A courier service will deliver the books to the high school library for you to pick up. You will be notified by Mr. Prescott, the NMHS Library Media Specialist, when your books arrive.
When you are ready to return your books, please return them to the high school library.* If you have any problems or questions, please contact the library at 355-1191 ext. 207.
* - Please note that books must be returned to Mr. Kosier either by or before the due date stamped in the book. Otherwise, for books returned after that date the standard fine established by the Public Library will be imposed ($.10 per day per book). If you need the book for a longer time, simply call the library (before the due date) and we can renew the book for you over the telephone for another loan period if no one is waiting for that item.
