Sunflower Contest
The Young Adult Council invites you to pick up a pack of sunflower seeds from the library by JUNE 10th (whilde supplies last), plant them and harvest your best. Bring them to the library on AUGUST 23 at 2 PM to be judged by Kathy Elmore of the New Milford Garden Club. Let's see who can grow the tallest, largest or prettiest flower!

Creative Writing - Grades 5-8
NMPL invites teens to join our Creative Writing Clubs. Share writing tips and ideas.
Middle School students in grades 5 - 8 meet the fourth (4th) Wednesday of the month from 4-5:30 PM.
Participants can also share their writing by joining the staff of
"The Aura", the library's new literary magazine for teens.

Anime Club

Young People's Book Swap
Give a Book, Take a Book! NMPL's Young Adult Council will be sponsoring a Young People's Book Swap on June 26, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. For each usable book brought into the Junior Library during regular library hours from June 1st to June 26th, participants will receive a coupon good for one book to swap.

Book Buddies - Book Buddies are needed - NMPL pairs up 5th-12th grade young adult patrons with younger children (ages 4-8) to become Book Buddies.
